I occasionally design birthday cards for my family and friends instead of buying them. Doing this gives me the opportunity to experiment with different design techniques and it gives me the chance to get creative. I also get to show others my work and my style of design.

Photoshop Illustration

As well as designing pamphlets, logos, banners etc I love to experiment using brushes and paint tools on photoshop. Here are a few of my favourite images out of the many I have produced over the years using these programs.

GrainTech Booklet

GrainTech is a fictional company outlining work safety in high risk workplaces such as mechanic factories and storage warehouses. One of our tasks in first year at Swinburne was to design a booklet in our own style and layout using the information provided in the brief. I went for a landscape layout and used black and yellow as the main colours of the design and white for the text.

EPA Calendar

One of our assignments was to create a calendar that represented the environment. We had to make it completely ourselves without the use of internet images so for my calendar I took my own images of certain elements of nature and made them into a circular shape. I also included a Japanese theme into my design, and included the Japanese translation of the dates under each month. Here are some of the months as well as the front cover that I have uploaded.
